June 20, 2026-Catskill Creek to Albany

Spent a quiet night at anchor - grilled fish, brussels and Rodney's new favorite way to roast potatoes on the grill...tackled hoisting the dink back onto the boat prior to setting out in the am. Pretty day, though towards time to dock at the Albany Yacht Club the wind picked up - Cap did a nice job getting us onto the fuel dock, off the fuel dock and onto the other dock. Grabbed some ice and got the lay of the land - laundry, groceries, trash etc. One of the Club's patrons stopped to chat a bit - recommended a local joint called Illusive - good burgers and beer. But the kicker was the ice cream place - Mega Kone - serving Perry's ice cream. More flavors than I "have ever saw" and though we were certain we could not finish our mammoth single scoops (I had bourbon pecan swirl and R had peanut butter s'more) we DID! In a food coma watched Jeopardy for the first time in weeks...
