July 3, 2023--Gananoque, CA--We Finally Made it to the Promised Land.

So, we made it to Canada today. Initially anchored out in the Thousand Islands. Called CBP, got "invited" to go to the nearest marina. That's all I am allowed to say about that. Walked around town after we met a nice police dog and two very nice Canadian Border Patrol officers, who met us at the boat on the Customs dock. Dog got to "tour" our boat." CBP officer gave us directions to the nearest "pharmacy." Had a nice walk-about in Gananoque.  Lovely little town. Bought scones and some great bread at a local bakery. Stacey bought a $19 moo-moo because it was f___ing hot. Everything is walking distance from the marina. Got a fabulous Middle-Eastern meal from the food truck just down from the marina. Went back to anchorage, sat up on the flybridge, pondered life, and had a cocktail.

A light post and some woman's butt, apparently (Stacey took this, not me). Stacey explains she was trying to take a picture of town and the flowers. Which by the way, all the towns in Canada, we were to find out, have amazing landscaping and lots of flowers. This is on the bridge over the little river in the next pictures.
