July 1, 2026-Sacketts Harbor--Hot, Hot, Hot--Lot's of History

Took the dinghy ashore in Sacketts Harbor. Docked at the municipal dock. Walked to breakfast- which was okay stuffed French toast and an omelet. Visited a local museum celebrating the War of 1812 (in which the Canadians kicked our ass). Quaint little town.

See the Boat. It's the tiny white speck on the horizon. See the Dock. It's not close to the boat. Dinghy motor stopped running at the end of the dock because the fuel feed from the tank is defective.  .  Rodney had to row back to the boat.

Yuck.  Anchor came up with fifty pounds of mud and weeds.  Took me ten minutes to get it all off.
