Survivor is a 1991 Grand Banks Classic 46 (more about her on the "About" page.  Stacey and I (Rodney) bought her in May 2025 so we could cruise the Down East Loop and the American Great Loop.  We have been working on her for over a year, and we are leaving/left in June 2026 for Nova Scotia and, just maybe, Newfoundland.

We owned a 2000 Manta 42 (a sailing  cat) before Survivor, and we sailed her from North Carolina to Main, to the Bahamas, and to the Keys.  We are looking forward to a different lifestyle on Survivor.

This blog is primarily for friends and family.  However, if you're not one of those, we can't stop you from peeking but don't expect a bunch of sentimental dribble about, well, anything.  This is going to be mostly photographs with descriptions of where we are.  We may link to a map page that shows our track--if we can figure out how.

Contact

We have been boating for decades.  Many of our best friends are boaters.  The thing about people who live on or spend time on boats is that they have time to be friendly and helpful, and most of them are.  If you want to reach Rodney, shoot him an email at:

Feel free to reach out with questions or just to chat.  Include you phone number if you choose and Rodney will call you back someday, maybe.
